Held annually on the weekend closest to Charlie Russell’s birthday (March 19), the C.M. Russell Auction of Original Western Art in Great Falls is one of the largest western art auctions. Over 300 pieces of art are auctioned each year, although over 600 are submitted. Activities include free seminars, over 100 exhibit rooms, a Birthday Ball, a reception and Indian dancers.
